As you all know, have a bog standard f650gs.but looking to lower the seat
if thats possible,the reason is a guy came to buy it but it was
just a touch to high,so the Q is can you buy a lower seat,or
have one made,or lower the bike,when the guy sat on he was
just below tip toes, so looking to drop the bike,say by an inch or so

The seat can be "gutted" to make it a bit lower.
Kahedo still makes seats for these bikes but they are expensive (north of €400) and at that point it's just cheaper to have somebody rework the original saddle to lower it as much as possible.
Honestly I am not a big fan of lowering conversions as they tend to mess up handling and lower the resale value considerably (unless you put more money or time into it to bring it back to standard again).
