your not only a jammy bugger but optimistic too...like it Laugh

Your trip beats my upcoming (mid june) week long ring trip and i dare say I'll not get the chance for anything longer and as adventurous as yours for a long time but have great memories of when me and a few mates last did a proper euro tour.

Enjoy Thumbs Up

Sounds good to me Thumbs Up

Wish I was going. Ahh, the memories ....

Take care, enjoy all those brilliant roads in the south, but watch out for those French speed cameras on the way down - buggers were everywhere last time I went over.

Why? I can think of 2 reasons

1 the traffic is mad
2 its so farking hot it's torture

can't imagine you didn't go without a navigator, otherwise Madrid in particular is a pain, Barcelona is just one big grid so difficult to get lost.

Thievery I guess is also a factor...

Do tell

too many stop starts, too many loons on scooters and no tomtom Sad lost about 2hrs looking for a hotel in both cities!

The zook's clutch does not like stop/starts and i dont like the heat with no wind..... i do like the traffic light drag races so that made up for things a little.

I tried various ways of mounitng my tomtom onto my rev counter with a suction pad but i didnt rate either.... next time ill hail a cab and follow him on the bike Wink

Totally know what you mean about the Pyranees and the roads around there - just brilliant! + the traffic light drag races in Barcelona - and most big cities in France and Spain - they love it Laugh

I take it you didn't get stopped on the day then Andy. Hope you're clear, the bastards are trying to cut traffic by banning all the drivers Sad
