Which scheme looks best[ 16 votes ]
1. Yellow/Blue 12 / 75%
2. Red/Blue 4 / 25%

I'm in the fortunate position of having acquired a complete set of fairings and tank for a 929 in this red/blue scheme.

Currently my bike has the yellow scheme which I like but the fairings have a few imperfections which don't really irk me much but I'm 50/50 now I've bought the red/blue set wether to fit them so what do you think?

My bike currently
front mudguard should be blue on standard scheme but Grav had it in yellow and I like it so kept it

An example of 929 in the Red/Blue scheme panels I also now have

You'll have to make allowances for this bike not having ohlins shock, gold chain, race can, huge indicators etc.

i am not normally a fan of the yellow ones, but they are growing on me, and out of those two, i would go with the yellow Thumbs Up

so thats a vote from me, and as CW had a yellow one, another vote from her

Red is common, but that model is quite rare as you normally see this one in red

They're both nice, but I voted for the yellow.

Do the yellow this year, red next, yellow year after etc etc..

My old 929 was the Red/Blue, loved it smile But you have to have the wheels painted gold.....somehow that colour scheme really suits gold wheels Thumbs Up

Red for me! When i bought mine i just could not decide, it was red/no yellow/no red/no yellow...

Both nice though.

I actually think the 929 is the best looking Blade ever, even to this day, 12 year on it doesnt look that dated.

Love the avatar Martin... send me a copy of that mate Grin

I wish I hadn't given mine away and had squeezed it on the container somehow Sad it was so forgiving and the road surfaces are not great here in Kiwi land ....

Now we are here, and we have realised that other people bargain hard for 40 foot containers (ours was the basic 20 foot), we would have brought our bmw car too as diesel is very cheap here and german cars are very expensive Thumb Down

My original 929 was in the above scheme so a case of been there done that although as mentioned the Blue/Red panels I have do seem quite rare as it took a while to find much in the way of pics of that shceme on google images.

But it looks like the faster colour wins on votes so I guess I wasted my time driving down to brummie land a few weeks ago to pick them up as I'm only going to have to flog them again now. At least the panels/tank are practically perfect so I'll get my money back smile

i think the colour red at the top was the 2001 model rather than 2000.

I had the Yellow/blue flavour. Always looked right.
Chose it after seeing all the colours at a bike show. Must confess that the silver one looks good as well. (but not quite on par with Y/B)

My 929 was err....black hahah.

I thought it was proven years ago that yellow bikes were the slowest; comprehensive test in MCN if I recall.

Think I remember Honda only trusting MCN with a black 929 as they saved the fast yellow ones for the PB and FB lads Wink

Red - The colour of Passion, red roses, Ferraris, the blood running through your veins, hot chilli peppers..... Thumbs Up

Yellow - The colour of a busted zit, the stain on a girls knickers, a cowards streak, a bad infection, and the predominant colour of puke...... Thumb Down

Nope, a bike colour that attracts more bugs than it does admirering glances is just wrong smile
