First off I hope there are no hard core honda bike fans reading this.. I had a 79` cb650 for 11 years, was my first bike and I loved it. fall of 16` a truck turned left in front of me, ICU for a week and a wheel chair for 3 months, broke 7 bones... frame and forks are shot but id like to build one of those shifter karts. so my question here is , Ive already gotten the bare bones wiring diagram but its missing the start button, it shows the wires that go to the key switch so I have the original key switch hooked up to my kart but the push start button is missing and I have to turn the motor over by crossing the solenoid. which wire ran to the start button on the handle bar and what do I do with it? does it need grounded or ran back to the solenoid or to HOT or what? someone has to know. thanks for your time. btw if you are interested in any other parts except the motor just ask.

I have no blue/white wire anywhere in my harness. the 4 wires coming off the solenoid are solid red, solid black, red/white and yellow/orange. they are all 12 gauge except the yellow/orange is very small like 16 gauge or so.

so then with the key in the on position the yellow/red/orange.. (it must be faded over 40 years) needs to contact black? Thanks
and yes from the solenoid because my bike was totaled and everything on the front including handlebars and birds nest was trashed. So i had nothing to go off of.
