Hello my fellow two wheel lovers...
So as a local who's been riding most of his life off-road in Madeira, I am writing about my new project, my home island and it's off-road scene.

Madeira is a Portuguese Island off the coast of the African Continent (about 3,5h flight from London) and it's known for it's mild sub-tropical climate all year, it's wine and gastronomy, it's epic jurassic mountains, it's nature and levadas, poncha and more...
It has a huge potential that I felt was left unexplored until now, which is providing access to the off-road tracks and trails around here, so I decided to start a new project.

This year we started a new company (MountainGadget.pt) for organizing off-road tours around the island, providing people whatever they need to have an awesome time on a dirt-bike.
We decided to go for brand new Hondas CRF450RX, top-of-the line machines for this type of experiences (I know.. a bit of an overkill, but it is awesome!) we bought three, and with our local knowledge we started touring around the island, and the feedback has been really really good.

We have just announced the first packages of the year (it's a bit late, i know), but we will soon be posting more vacation packages for 2020. Even though Madeira is not as big as a continent, it has a huge offer of different terrains for all levels, from flat-out dirt-roads to more hard enduro style technical trails. And all this while discovering the island, the local lifestyle and some wonderful views you don't get to see on the beaten path.

Our offer goes all the way from those who wish to try off-road for the first time, or even for the more experienced, we have tracks for all levels!

I'll leave you with some photos:
