Quick update on this one to close out.... clutch working a treat. Just need to order new clutch springs for the next oil change.... or try the HD ones again now that the clutch is bedded in. smile

Measure the uncompressed spring length: service limit is 43.5mm. Anything more means the spring is to be replaced.
