This may well be my last ever track day.

We will see.

The Norton has arrived.

I think he bought it a while ago but it was only delivered recently. When I went to see the new Commando I was quoted "about 8 months" for delivery: I think delivery times have been cut down considerably but are still pretty long compared to, say, Ducati.
I have to say Pipe is a braver man than I am because what I saw of Norton didn't exactly fill me with confidence.

Looking at the new vs used prices so long as he doesn't lend it his dad, Pipe's not going to be loosing money on it if it doesn't float his boat Wink

LOL @ Si Laugh

K ... I agree ... They called me and asked me not to take it to Mugello before it was run in and had its first service!

When I asked why they said the first 600 miles is critical and they have to check all the nuts and bolts are still tight at first service? I saidf does this mean the wheels might drop off at 180mph going into San Denato ... I think that was lost on the guy who phoned lol.

I opted to take the R1M instead ... however its all called off for a serious family matter ... so I wont ride either, I wont be going.
