I've a new Shark Evo 3 flip,does anyone know how,or why my visor
looks like someone has wiped it with an oily rag think

I remember Bell Helmet visors two decades ago had some sort of anti-fog coating which turned to a sticky goo after six months or so. Could it perhaps be such a case? think

Anyway when cleaning any visors just use dish soap, cold water and a soft sponge, preferably one made for crystalware.

If it's got an anti-fog treatment do not scrub it nor use any aggressive solvent as you may end up making things even worse.
At most try sticking it in the refrigerator for a few hours and see if it improves things.

I usually just wet a kitchen tissue or two (those think Blitz ones are great) and pay it over the front and visor, let it soak a while then rub it clean although this is more to get rid of dead (I hope they're dead anyway) and dried flies and their innards.

I guess if I had some crappy film on the visor, I may resort to Mr Sheen Multisurface cleaner as thats fine on TV's, hifi's etc and think I do use that from time to time although haven't ridden much this year so can't actually recall Doh
