video is private.

btw have you updated to Windows 10 Build 2004 yet as if its Windows 10 related (and not some other program), it could be something thats fixed in the newer build as that tends completely refreshes Windows (without loosing programs/data) and from what I could tell on your PC, I can't find anything obvious such as an addon or third party program that would be a suspect.

To Check, goto SETTINGS -> UPDATE & SECURITY and see if its offered there as an optional download? (or when in there, click OS Build Info on the RHS, scroll down a bit and it'll show the Version which will be 1909 (Dec 2019 version of Windows 10) or 2004 (May 2020 version)

Have you seen this?

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1203608

particularly "You should only find channel-prefs.js in the "defaults\pref" location, any other file found here is suspicious."

eg this is mine
/forum/index.php?t=getfile&id=22596&private=0

and also

C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\

"Delete the dsengine.js and dsengine.cfg files when present"

Not present in mine at all, if you have them, close FF (if open) and delete them

/forum/index.php?t=getfile&id=22597&private=0

after that, its get a bit more extreme...not by much but this is what I would do (ensure you know your FF Sync login and password)

1) close FF
2) from Programs and Features in Control Panel, uninstall FF
3) Browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\ and delete the complete folder \Mozilla Firefox\
4) Also check C:\Program Files\ and if present delete the complete folder \Mozilla Firefox\
5) Start -> Run type %appdata% then OK or enter and you'll be into your profiles settings
6) Delete the Mozzila folder

/forum/index.php?t=getfile&id=22598&private=0

7) Click the address bar to go back from \Roaming\ to \Local\ and eg C:\Users\Bazza\AppData\Local
8) Delete Mozilla from there too
9) Firefox is now totally gone
10) Open Chrome/IE/Edge, search and redownload British Firefox and install
11) Sign in to FF Sync and with a bit of luck, most of your stuff incl Bookmarks will return after a few mins (minus the British Spell checking but there's a thread on that from last time to aid reinstall) *

*If not, the stuff you need is in the recycle bin, I could help you recover just the stuff you need and none of the crap thats probably built up over the years but FF sync tends to sort it

If you like, I'm not overly busy atm, can do the above for you with TV when we're both next online?

And another update, after i did the Windows updates, its seems to be quicker, but that
could be wishful thinking,BING has'nt returned so far RollEyes so while we're on
a roll is it worth doing FF,,,,ie you not me,,,please think
I checked all the other stuff to the best i could, and could'nt find,
dsengine.js and dsengine.cfg files anywhere,also the channel-prefs.js in the "defaults\pref" location,
was the same as yours, thats my limit Doh

Well for now, if Bing hasn't returned & you see no sign of those files, its safest to consider it fixed unless it returns, as there no point fixing something something that [hopefully] isn't broke anymore

Fingers crossed for you Thumbs Up

Sorry for the delay, I've been away on a staycation smile

Yeah you should be able to turn that off from the BIOS (usually f12 or f1 when powering on)

Not sure what section it will be under, but it will be something like System Config / Boot Options / PXE Internal NIC boot and once you find it, it should be obviously named. Just set to disabled.

Note don't disable the Network Card (NIC) itself, just the agent. Then SAVE and EXIT which iirc is normally F2 or F10
