good morning all.
I've been scratching my head on this one for a while.
My '87 CBX 750 is covering me with a spray of oil when out and about. There's oil splatter on the cockpit, ignition, handlebars. Funny enough, not much on the tank or side cover. I have it narrowed down as if is comes from the steering head area, underneath the ignition.
This bike uses the oil in frame system to get the oil to the oil cooler, mounted just below the steering head on the main frame.
Would it be possible for some blockage or sticking pressure valve that the oil is forced out the steering head bearing? And at the top end at that, not the bottom bearing? I don't get it but any advise or hints welcome.
Thanks in advance smile
